Richard Little is MD of Jenton International, manufacturers of UV light emission systems and packaging automation equipment. Richard has 15 granted patents in the field of microwave energised UV generators, used for air and surface disinfection/sterilisation and for UV ink and adhesive curing as well as newly granted patents in the field of valve bag manufacture with applications in food and cut flowers. He is also Vice Chairman of the Processing and Packaging Machinery Association.
Jonathan Ridley is the Head of Engineering at Southampton Solent University following previous experience at the Warsash Maritime Academy, the Defence Evaluation Research Agency (DERA) and QinetiQ at Haslar. He has worked with both experimental and computational fluid hydrodynamics ranging from CFD application and validation and consultancy to scale model and towing tank testing. He currently teaches naval architecture and ship stability on both navigation and engineering programmes and has provided consultancy services covering education, training and assessment for the industry. In 2014 he co-authored 'Reeds Volume13 Ship Stability, Powering and Resistance', part of the renowned Reeds Marine Engineering and Technology Series..
